The Wenatchee High School Speech and Debate team had an extraordinary second tournament last Saturday in Spokane. Competing against about 40 schools, Wenatchee earned 12th overall in Sweepstakes. The two WHS students competing took home three trophies.

Senior Vivian Noyd won the Extemporaneous Speaking event and got second in Congressional Debate, sophomore Cassandra Noyd made it into the final round of Humorous Interpretation, placing sixth overall.
