Winter festivities send students out with spirit
Don Shoemake, a guest teacher, dressed as Santa Claus for Thursday’s Winter Week activity. Students were able to take pictures with Santa Claus in the morning, break, and at lunch.
Winter Week at Wenatchee High School, running from Dec. 16-19, held a variety of events for the student body. Dress up days, concerts and an assembly all occurred during the week. A number of students participated in the dress up days, sporting pajamas, ugly sweaters, and flannel.The WHS Music Department also held its annual Winter Concert on Dec. 17 and 18. On Dec. 19, ASB wrapped up the week with an assembly centered around the popular Christmas movie, “The Polar Express.”
