Eduardo Ramos, Editor-in-Chief

Eduardo Ramos is the Editor-in-Chief of The Apple Leaf. As Editor-in-Chief, Eduardo dedicates much of his time to ensure the highest quality in content and layout of both the print and online version of The Apple Leaf.

Outside of the Publications Room, Eduardo takes part in other activities at the high school. He serves as a Senior Class Senator. Eduardo also tries to find time to volunteer around his community. He enjoys working alongside others.

Since Eduardo was a child he had a passion to pursue a career in Broadcast Journalism. As an 8th grader, Eduardo created his own newscast, he called it “The Valley Report.” When touring WHS, Eduardo found the Publications Room and as he acknowledges, “it was the perfect place to practice journalism.” He plans to continue on to a four year university. Eduardo will double major in political science and journalism.

Eduardo can be contacted at 509-881-5822 or via email: [email protected].

Only a small group of Wenatchee High School students have the opportunity to earn money doing what they like, sophomore Israel Sixto is part of that group. Sixto has been selling his artwork and stuffed animals he creates. I managed to sell oe of them for 20 dollars and it wasnt really that big... so that was really good, Sixto said.
