As of Feb 2026 the federal and local authorities have uncovered a suspected biolab in a Las Vegas home after receiving a tip.

In Las Vegas the police have only taken one person into custody, the property manager of the residence named Ori Solomon facing charges of illegal possession of a firearm and disposing of hazardous waste but still hasn’t faced any charges for the biolab. Allegedly could be tied to a similar case in California of 2023 Jia Bei Zhu got arrested for running an unauthorized lab where he tested COVID-19, pregnancy and HIV tests, and even had containers labeled “dengue fever”, “malaria” with some being in english and mandarin but with what his attorney says is he has no ties to this new case at all since he has been in custody for 3 years, however there are records showing that Zhu has contacted Solomon 467 times to manage the properties and send him money while he’s awaiting his trial.

Essentially what they found in the home was a refrigerator containing vitals with unknown liquids taking a safe precaution by using a robot to clear the home, even taking the safety measure to testing the air. The authorities have stated “there is no threat to the public.” But with the further investigation two people have spoken out to becoming “deathly ill” and even “not being able to get out of the bed”, after entering and staying in the home since the home was being operated as an Airbnb, One reporter has said the room smelled like a hospital but not like a typical hospital smell where its clean more like a foul stagnant air smell.

Right now the 1,000 vitals that were found have no clear indication to what they are and have been shipped to the agency for further analysis across the country.
