Senior Antonio Lozano placed third in Who’s Who at the FBLA State Leadership Conference, 2015 Champions by Design. The conference was held in Spokane from April 15-17. In most categories, the top three place-winners are sent to Nationals, but in Lozano’s event, only the top finisher goes on.

Junior Israel Sixto-Sanchez placed fourth in Local Chapter Business Report, and senior Eduardo Ramos placed fourth in Public Service Announcement.

Other competitors were seniors Teresa Bendito, Seleni DeJesus, Janeth Laurel, Yajayra Ramirez, junior Mary Smith, sophomore Austin Lozano, and freshman Jazmin Medrano.

“These FBLA members worked hard to get to State, but even more impressive was the manner in which they represented their school and community while in Spokane,” FBLA adviser Jeff Leavitt said in an email to staff. “They demonstrated leadership and Panther Pride with their professional behavior and support of each other. As advisers, Meg Lovercamp and I couldn’t be more proud to have been a part of this with these fine students.”
Nationals will be held in Chicago summer 2015.
