Senior voters elected seniors Christian Brandt-Sims and Katie Kleppen as prom king and queen.

Wenatchee High School’s prom took place on Saturday at the Town Toyota Center. The event ran from 8-11 p.m. and took the theme Black Tie Affair.

Other members of the court included seniors Miguel Viramontes and Joe Sells as princes, and Megan Sand and Kori Martin as princesses.

“When I heard I’d gotten chosen as king, I was super surprised,” Brandt-Sims said. “It was the first time we’d done prom royalty in a while, and it was a great tradition to bring back. It was really cool that my peers voted me king.”
