Spring took longer than usual, but it’s finally here! Days feel infinite and the sun is out longer. If you’re wondering what you should do during spring break, here is a list of things to prevent you from dying of extreme boredom.

  1. Hiking

Hiking during spring is perfect. The flowers are blooming, the weather is refreshing and days are brighter. If you hate actually exercising then just hike a little and take pictures to make it look like you did. For those who actually want to hike, some places where you can go hiking in Wenatchee are Castlerock, Sagehills’, and Jacobson Preserve Trailhead. Wenatchee may have some beautiful hiking places but getting out of Wenatchee for a change of scenery would be fun. Some places to go hiking are Rialto Beach, Ohanapecosh Campground and Blanca Lake. The best time, in my opinion, is to go is early in the morning to see the sun rise.

  1. Photoshoots

Photoshoots are great to do in the spring. The weather is not too hot and not too cold. You can start taking senior pictures or just take casual pictures with portrait mode. Photoshoots are convenient to do in the spring because as you get your pictures taken, you won’t get cold as fast and you won’t get sweaty as you pose. Who wants to look crusty as their picture taken? Some nice places where you can take pictures around town are Pybus Market Place, Ohme Gardens, Skyline dr. or just find a cute background and got at it.

  1. Thrift Shopping

Thrift shopping is not only fun, but it’s also cheap. If you’re anything like me then spring makes you want to go out and buy a whole new wardrobe but it’s kinda hard to buy new clothes without breaking the bank. Thrift shopping is an easy way to find some cute pieces without going broke. After all, “One man’s trash is another man’s treasure”. A lot of times, people take objects to the thrift shops because they don’t find use in them but that doesn’t mean you can’t find use out of them. But, there’s some really cool things you can find in thrift stores. Look up some inspiration online and see if you can make some unique and super cute new clothes for spring!

  1. Eat outside

Going out to eat with friends is more enjoyable when you get seating outside. The nice weather and good food can put anyone in a good mood. You can get away from the dishes clinking and the people who can’t control their voice level and dine while hearing the birds chirp and feel a slight breeze. If you don’t want to go to restaurants, picnics are they way to go. Play relaxing music, spill some tea with your friends and grub.
