Wenatchee’s Haunted Theater returns from the dead

The Haunted Theater has returned from the dead. After being absent for three years, the fright-mistress Cynthia Brown (“Head of Haunt”) has brought the same Haunted Theater as before, only bigger with more monsters.

A strong request for it from the Wenatchee Valley community ultimately made Brown decide to bring it back. The terrifying act can be seen at The National Guard Armory, 1230 5th Street, on Oct. 23-25, and 29-31. The Armory is a much bigger space than the previous one and allows the monsters to come up with more scare tactics, causing a much more frightening show says Brown.

“Everyone that has taken our monster tour [or] orientation has been fairly impressed,” Brown said.

Brown would like the show to be a surprise to the public (so no spoilers), but she promises that the performance will not disappoint.

Only those who are 10 or older are allowed in. If they are any younger, the box office will respectfully refuse admittance. It costs $10 at the door to get in. Those who are too excited and can’t stand the wait can pay $5 extra.

The doors open at 6:30 p.m.

“Our biggest year we had 3,000 in attendance, so I hope to have 4,000 this year being that we have twice the space and twice the monsters,” Brown said.
