Dahl, Martinez, Morgan, Thompson, Mercer named to Apple Blossom Top 10

The Apple Blossom committee announced the top 10 finalists Jan. 8 at the Wenatchee Convention Center. The decision came after speeches at both Wenatchee High School and Eastmont High School. Candidates were asked to choose a word that best describes them and deliver a speech to students from their school.
Judged by three out of town evaluators, the candidates received entry to the top ten based on 50-percent of the vote from students, and 50-percent of the vote from the judges.
The top ten will now stay busy leading up to the pageant on Feb. 8. Tickets go on sale Jan. 13 at the Apple Blossom Office.
