The Wenatchee Golden Apple Marching Band earned the first-place award in their Open Band Division for the parade portion of the competition and third place in competition in their Open Band Division at the Auburn 50th anniversary Veterans Day Parade last Saturday.

The band competed with against 28 different marching bands from across the state. They performed in the Veterans Day parade in Wenatchee on Wednesday.

The parade marked the end of the band’s competitive marching season. They will prepare for their winter concerts and Solo Ensemble until March, when they will begin their parade season and travel to Victoria, Canada.
