Will DeMarco, Staff Reporter
Will DeMarco is a staff reporter for the Apple Leaf.
Other than working on the newspaper, he plays defense for Wenatchee Valley’s club lacrosse team and enjoys relaxing with a good tune on his iPod or just taking it easy with friends. Will saw an opportunity in the journalism program to progress his writing skills and offer new perspectives on current matters relevant to the contemporary world. As an exuberant young elementary schooler, Will would spend afternoons creating his own comic books and short stories and proudly show them to anybody who would listen. This infatuation with shaping his ideas and putting them down on paper as a finished product to present to others has stayed with Will, inspiring him to pursue a future in such ventures.
Will hopes to attend the Edward R. Murrow College of Communication at Washington State University next year. With aspirations to continue in the field of journalism and communication, Will plans on making a future career of his fascination and devotion with constructing literature of all forms to entertain himself and readers alike.
