Volleyball season comes to an end

The Wenatchee High School volleyball team saw their 2015 season come to an end Saturday night in the district tournament at West Valley High School at the hands of Eisenhower with a final score of 3-0.

The Panthers started the day off with a dominating 3-0 win over rival Eastmont High School. They then played Eisenhower in a loser-out contest with Ike coming out on top with.

“Even though we didn’t make it to State we pushed ourselves and fought to the very end and enjoyed our last game as a team,” senior Lauren Selland said. “This season with our team was amazing. We worked hard to made tremendous improvements each day and we grew as a whole to accomplish our goals.”
