WHS students awarded honors at Mock Trial State competition
Wenatchee High School’s Mock Trial team took fourth place at the State competition last weekend in Olympia.
The team was also awarded the Values Award, voted on by other teams and given to the group displaying both respect and civility in and outside the courtroom. Both the Best Witness and Best Lawyer awards went to WHS, which is the first time ever a school has taken both.
Junior Vivian Noyd also won the Best Attorney award and senior Lili Italiane won the Best Witness award.
