Claire Ivey, In-Depth Editor
Claire Ivey is a sophomore in her second year of Apple Leaf and is the In-Depth Editor. Claire
spends her days in school doing math formulas, attempting to speak French and writing
essays. On top of her classes, Claire is a member of DECA, the treasurer of the Math Honors
Society and an avid avoider of socializing with the unknown. She spends her hours not in
school at the dance studio, working numerous hours on choreography and also spends her
time teaching dance to the young children at the studio. Claire has an unhealthy obsession with
anything music-related, using any and all time she finds in the day to engage in music-related
hobbies. These hobbies include spending the money Claire does not have on buying records,
playing the violin and forcing her family and friends to listen to the weird songs she finds. On
top of school and dance, Claire is also very passionate about law and politics and likes to keep
herself up to date on all the crazy happenings going on in the world. She is always up and ready
