Country singer Megan Moroney played in Seattle on Sept. 26, continuing her Am I Okay Tour. I was speechless when I saw my queen come out on the stage. She was dramatic, loud, entertaining and so very fun to listen to the intro, amazing.
The show started at eight, yet Megan didn’t come on stage till nine. Some random Charlie guy opened for her and he was okay. He had a good voice, but not my favorite. I was there to see Megan and I was ready to see her. The intro video was nothing less than spectacular, a moon appeared on the screen and then a video clip of her, then a 10-second countdown and boom, there she was. She opened with “Man on The Moon” and ended with “Am I okay.”
She sang for two and a half hours. Her set was themed blue, sparkly and her “emo cowgirl” vibe. She sang almost the whole Am I Okay album and played a couple of songs from the Lucky album and some from her other album Pistol Made of Roses. She also played her single that’s been played over 40 million times. Six months later, I had the blessing of going to the concert with my boyfriend Sam Wagner, who surprised me with tickets on July 1. In one of her songs Miss Universe, she always awards a little girl with flowers on the stage and her crew picked her out.
She awarded her blue roses and that little girl was Miss Universe of Seattle, it was so adorable. As she sang, we danced and I sang my head off, having the best night of my life. She sounds so good live and I can’t wait till there’s a next time when she’s in Seattle. If you enjoy listening to her, I highly recommend attending her concert. She sounds so good live! Another surprise that I had, was Sam Wagner asked me to homecoming before the concert!
