To start off, this Thanksgiving food ranking is going to be a little bit controversial. So continue reading to see if you agree with the best Thanksgiving foods.
Landing its spot at number 10 is stuffing. I’d give it a 3/10, something about the texture just throws me off and the flavor is lacking pizazz.
Rolling at number 9 is ham. 4/10 just because there is a very thin line between the ham being dry or just gross in general and if you don’t have honey with your ham it brings it down to a 2/10.
Next up at number 8 is mac and cheese. For me personally mac n cheese just isn’t a Thanksgiving food. Plus putting on multiple different cheeses is just doing too much.
Number 7 is pumpkin pie. If you like pumpkin pie I think you might be crazy just because it is a big pile of weird texture stuff on a thin piece of hard crust. The only reason this isn’t lower on the ranking is because the color goes well with Thanksgiving and a single bite with a lot of whip cream isn’t horrible, 4/10.
Brussel sprouts come in at number 6. Not necessarily the most common Thanksgiving food but if they are baked in the oven they taste good. Usually baked brussel sprouts would be higher in the list for me but minus points for not being a popular thanksgiving side, 5.8/10.
Corn for me is a solid 6.4/10 putting itself at a 5 on the scale. Cute color I guess and I like the sweet corn and how well it goes with mashed potatoes. I would give it a 7/10.
Next up as number 4 on the ranking list is turkey. It’s a classic, it’s expected to be there and is pretty consistent. Good but doesn’t blow me out of the water, 7.6/10.
Receiving bronze is green bean casserole. You either love it or you hate it. Bonus points if the green beans are fresh and not just out of a can so they are crunchy, and the fried onions on top is just amazing. A solid color scheme as well, 9/10.
Mashed potatoes is clearly a good choice and everyone is upset if it isn’t on the Thanksgiving table. Of course bonus points if there is melted butter on it and gravy. Tends to be consistent and a necessity on your plate, 9.9/10.
The best Thanksgiving food in my opinion is strawberry pretzel salad. By far the best dessert, 11/10. Pretzel crust with whip cream and strawberry jello. No comments, if you haven’t tried it, it’s a must.
