Sylvia Hwang is a junior at Wenatchee High School and the managing news editor of The Apple Leaf. This is her third year on staff, and she is very excited to be working with a new editorial board in a higher position of leadership this year. You’re most likely to find her typing up stories in the publishing room or running cross country and track for the fourth year in a row and occasionally questioning why she chose to put herself through the constant pain of consistent exercise. You might also find her sketching, reading, listening to music, helping with stage productions, serving at her church, or complaining about her height (she stands at five foot zero).
